Haleem
One Time Only
Some of our customers have been asking us to make Haleem — a Pakistani dish made with meat, lentils, and wheat, cooked slow until it's soft.
We might bring it to Zaika as a one-time special — but before we decide how much to make, we want to know for sure:

The exact date? We’re keeping that a secret for now.
This is a one-time special. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Tell your friends and family so more people can try this food. We’ll make sure everyone who votes gets their share before we run out.
Never had Haleem?
Haleem is made with wheat, lentils, and meat cooked together for many hours until everything is soft. Then it gets beaten and mixed by hand for a long time, until the meat is shredded fine and it all turns into one thick, smooth dish. It takes hours of work and care, which is why families usually make it for special days like Ramadan. We top it with fried onions, ginger, green chili, and lemon.
